What will happen to NAB gold banking? Before direct charging no fee was charged to use any ATM, anywhere. After, no disloyalty fee was charged for gold banking customers. This was a major point of difference between the regular accounts and gold banking. What will happen now that no NAB accounts are charged a disloyalty fee? They have taken away a benefit of this account over the others they offer.

Could they be thinking of rebating the foreign ATM fee for gold banking customers? If only…

That is a possibility, Clinton. Bank West already does it to differentiate the ‘Zero’ and ‘Hero accounts.

For all the NAB Gold Banking Customer, i have been told that if there are sufficient complain about the charges from other ATM owner the management might consider the possibilities of revert the fees back to us (as what BankWest does).

So please call 1800152015 (only 3 - 5 minutes) and press option 3 for lodging your complain to the operator!!!

From the October 31st, Bank West Zero Transaction account holders will be charged foreign ATM fees for using ATMs except for Bankwest, Commonwealth Bank, ANZ, NAB and Westpac branded ATMs. If you opened your account between 1 May 2009 and 23 July 2009, you will have 6 months of fee free banking before you start experiencing direct charging again.

ING’s Orange Everyday account is still in beta and hasn’t been released to it’s clients or the public yet. Are there any genuine fee free accounts left?
