Bank SA has confirmed they will be charging customers an additional fee for processing transactions of customers using another provider’s ATM (ie. a disloyalty fee).
Bank SA customers can use any Westpac Group ATM from Westpac, St. George Bank or Bank SA and avoid a direct charge for the transaction. Bank SA offers transaction accounts free of fees when using Westpac Group ATMs.
We are working to get information on Bank SA’s direct charge fee for non-Bank SA customers using their ATMs, but Bank SA has been unwilling to provide to date.
