The ME website indicates that ME customer will only be charged the foreign-ATM owner’s Direct Charge fee. We have also confirmed this with ME’s customer service by email.
ME customers can use any ME or Westpac ATM however normal transaction fees will apply. At the moment these are set at $1.00
ME branded ATMs are provided by Cashcard (First Data), therefore non-ME customers will be charged per the Cashcard fees in the ATM fee table.

ME branded ATMs are actually Cashcard ATMs (the ME logo is only on the signage, not the screen) so Cashcard fees apply for non-ME customers using one of the ME-branded ATMs.
